Key Responsibilities:

Support Worker
Key Responsibilities:
The role of the Support worker supports the independence and wellbeing of clients by providing a high standard of care. The position will be expected to fulfil the roster they have agreed to and provide assistance to all Customer clients. The work may be in the client’s home or a facility.
All shifts will have a set time and purpose as defined in the Care Plan, support plans and may include:
- In home support, including general housekeeping
- Personal Care, supporting the client with their hygiene routine
- Respite, keeping the client safe and occupied to relieve the family carer
- Transport, providing safe transportation for clients
- Shopping, both unaccompanied and accompanied
- Community Access and social support, transportation to outings and therapy experiences
- Skills development for the participant to promote independent living and skills
During support Schedule support workers are expected to :
- Observe First Support Australia values
- Actively support the client to maintain their independence
- Provide some positive social interaction for the client
- Report any concerns or incidents to the office immediately
- Support the client with dignity, confidentially and courtesy
- Consistently observe all First Support Australia Policies and Procedures
- Comply with the client’s Care Plan, Behaviour support plans , NDIS plan and support plans , which may include working towards achieving client goals
- Keep all material and information related to clients, First Support Australia , and staff confidential and to dispose of this accordingly
SELECTION CRITERIA - CAPABILITIES
All selection criteria listed below are specific to this role, and must be addressed by applicants for this position.
1. Qualifications
- Minimum Relevant Australian qualification including Dioloma in Disability & Aged Care, HACC or related qualification may be considered
- Australian Nursing, overseas qualifications will be taken into consideration
- Unqualified applicants or those currently studying a relevant qualification will be considered for limited duties according to skills and experience
2. Mandatory
- Current Clear Police Check, less than 12 months old
- NDIS Worker screening check
- Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR
- Current Working with Children’s check
- NDIS Quality and safeguarding commission Orientation module
- Assist Client with medication certificate
- Manual handling certificate
- Qualification as above
- Physically fit and available to work up to 30 minutes’ drive from home
- Clean, neat, tidy and willing to comply with Customer dress code
- Ability to understand and follow directions, policies and procedures from a supervisor at Customer
- Ability and willingness to recognise and report any circumstances of potential risk to clients and care workers
- Clear communication skills
- All support Workers must undergo through the Disability workers exclusion scheme DWES and must return the clear results
3. Transport
- A reliable car and Australian Drivers Licence
- Applicants with an overseas licence will be considered but unable to drive clients
- In some circumstances, work may be available for care workers without a car, this would be discussed before interview

NDIS Case Manager
Qualifications and requirements:
- Relevant case management experience supporting clients with highly complex needs
- Successful completion of a diploma/degree/post-grad in Social Work, Social
Welfare, Psychology or related discipline
Position Purpose
This position is a key member of the Services Team providing assessment, care planning, monitoring and referrals for all clients. The Case Manager is responsible for performing in home face to face assessments and partner with clients, their carers/families to assess current situations and create case plans that enable maximum independence and positive impact for the person
Main responsibilities and activities will include:
1. Person centered assessment and care planning
- In consultation with clients, carers and families facilitate care assessment, care planning and review
- Develop and monitor individual plans and budgets with regular reviews/case conferencing· Manage any identified risks within principles of Positive Approach to Challenging Behaviours and Duty of Care, Dignity of Risk
- Development and maintenance of all documentation in client management systems
- Work within legislated NDIS and CDC frameworks
- Be aware of and comply with legislation and organisational requirements relating to Workplace Health and Safety
- Contribute to quality processes such as management of client feedback
- Actively participate in professional development activities (internally and externally) to maintain contemporary knowledge and skills as well as acquire new knowledge and skills
2. Client and stakeholder engagement
- Make relevant referrals, broker services and deal with suppliers as per care plan
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organization’s to ensure a holistic case management approach
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokerage agencies to ensure quality services are delivered by external providers.
- Ongoing communication with clients, carers/families to ensure they are aware of rights and responsibilities to make informed choices.
- Participate in on call roster
3. Business Development
- Ongoing relationship management with relevant referral sources
- Develop links in the community to source new referrals
- Retention of existing consumers
- Participate in objectives and performance review to reach KPI’s set in relation to new and existing consumers.

Our customer is looking for a drywall installer, also known as a dry plasterer, responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall panels on interior walls and ceilings in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role involves precise measurement, cutting, and fitting of drywall sheets, as well as taping, mudding, and sanding to ensure a seamless finish ready for painting or other surface treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape drywall panels to fit specific wall and ceiling dimensions.
- Install drywall panels by securing them to wall studs and ceiling joists with screws or nails.
- Fill joints between panels with tape and joint compound (mud) to create a smooth, seamless finish.
- Sand surfaces to ensure they are smooth and level for painting or other finishes.
- Repair or patch damaged drywall surfaces.
- Follow blueprints and plans to ensure accurate installation.
